Software & Network Engineering Graduate
I like working where code, networks, and security meet ; recently that meant automating vulnerability reporting; lately it's meant learning to build the interfaces that make systems like that easier to use.
I'm a recent Network and Software Engineering graduate from the University of Canberra, finishing with Second Class Honours (Division II) and a WAM of 82.6. I'm drawn to the intersection of software, networks, and security ; building tools that make systems easier to monitor, secure, and automate.
During my internship at Innovation Central Canberra, I helped automate a manual reporting process using data from Cisco and AlgoSec, which won Best Project across all teams. Since then I've been building on that by picking up frontend development and applied AI/ML alongside my networking and security background.
Compiling device vulnerability and lifecycle reports across the network was a manual, multi-step process ; slow to produce and easy to get wrong, which delayed remediation decisions.
I worked on an automation pipeline that pulls data from Cisco and AlgoSec and compiles it into a single consolidated report, turning a manual process into a repeatable, scheduled one.
As Project Development Intern, I worked across planning, delivery, and stakeholder engagement, and wrote the core automation logic.
The project won Best Project across all Innovation Central Canberra teams and was selected as an AIIA ACT Finalist in the Student category.
Three assessment sources ; baseline compliance, software vulnerabilities, and lifecycle status ; consolidated into one unified assessment and report.
A few things I've built to practice turning networking, security, and data problems into working software.
A web-based vulnerability assessment platform that integrates SQLMap and XSStrike with NVD and Vulners vulnerability intelligence, presenting scan findings, CVSS severity, and ML-assisted prioritisation in a readable dashboard.
Designed and developed a complete, production website for Tulips Café, currently live and serving customers. Built a fully responsive, custom-designed interface covering the menu, location, hours, and contact details, alongside an integrated online table reservation system for collecting customer booking details. Implemented local SEO practices; optimised titles, meta descriptions, semantic heading structure, and image alt text, to target relevant café and location-based searches. Configured a custom domain and managed production deployment, with attention to performance, accessibility, and usability across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
